Tareq Alzamel

Tareq Alzamel has a strong background in network communications and infrastructure. Tareq is currently the Network Communications and Peripherals Director at TAHAKOM since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Network & Security Operations Senior Manager at Alinma Bank from 2019 to 2023. In this role, they managed NOC and SOC teams, dealt with user escalations and vendors, and ensured SLA compliance. From 2016 to 2019, Tareq was the Network and Infrastructure Team Lead at Saudi Information Technology Company, where they handled IT infrastructure design, implementation, testing, and project management tasks. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2016, they served as a Senior Network Engineer at KACST, where they operated daily network operations, maintained network and security device health, and provided support to ISU clients.

Tareq Alzamel earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology & Computing from Arab Open University from 2004 to 2008. In 2014, they obtained a CCIE certification in Enterprise Infrastructure from Cisco. Tareq further pursued their studies at Cisco, completing a CCIE certification in Data Center from 2018 to 2019. Additionally, they attended Prince Sultan University from 2009 to 2010, where they received training and certifications in CCNA academy, CCNA, CCNP, and CCIE written, specializing in System, Networking, and LAN/WAN.
