Alex Goyette has extensive experience in public policy and community advocacy, currently serving as Public Policy Manager at the Tahirih Justice Center since February 2017. Previous roles at this organization include Senior Public Policy Associate, Public Policy Associate, Policy and Programs Intern, and Public Policy Intern. Earlier career experience includes administrative and translation duties at Bayside Pediatrics from 2011 to October 2017, where responsibilities involved assisting the Office Manager and interacting with Spanish-speaking patients. Additionally, Alex gained experience as a New Roots Gardening Intern at the International Rescue Committee, supporting refugee gardening initiatives, and worked as an intern for the Tesoreria General de la Republica, focusing on document preparation and organizational tasks. Academic credentials include a Master's Degree in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Political Science from the University of Delaware.
