Tahirih Justice Center
Caitlin Burnett is an experienced professional in nonprofit management and grant administration, currently serving as the Director of Institutional Giving and Government Grant Manager at Tahirih Justice Center since February 2017, where the focus is on supporting immigrant women and children facing violence. Previously, Caitlin held the position of Grants Officer at Public Justice, contributing to progressive legal projects, and served as National Grants Manager at Tahirih Justice Center from 2011 to 2016. Caitlin also has experience as Development and Administration Director at Boat People SOS, Inc., where management of a development team and securing significant grant funding were key responsibilities. Additional roles included a Peace Fellow at The Advocacy Project and various internships that provided foundational experience in public relations and environmental advocacy. Caitlin holds a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from American University and a BA in Politics and Psychology from Ithaca College.
