Elizabeth Hasse is an experienced attorney specializing in immigration law, currently serving as the Managing Attorney at Tahirih Justice Center since September 2014, where Elizabeth manages a team assisting immigrant survivors of gender-based violence. Prior roles at Tahirih Justice Center include Supervising Attorney and Staff Attorney, with responsibilities ranging from direct representation to oversight of legal staff. Elizabeth's legal foundation includes positions as a Student Attorney in Boston University's Civil Litigation Program and internships at Tahirih Justice Center and Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), focusing on various immigration proceedings. Elizabeth holds a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Spanish from the University of Notre Dame, along with a study abroad experience in Literature and Anthropology at Pontificia Universidad Catolica.
