Maria Corina Azpurua is an experienced legal professional with a strong background in immigration law and advocacy. Currently serving as a Legal Advocate/Paralegal at the Tahirih Justice Center since June 2018, Azpurua previously volunteered in a paralegal role at the same organization. Earlier experience includes a directorial position and co-founding Pekes LLC, along with legal expertise gained as an Associate at Itriago Frias & Asociados and as an Intern at Mata Borjas, Priwin & Ferrera. Azpurua holds a Paralegal Certificate from Boston University School of Law and a Bachelor of Laws from UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello.
