Kair Ridenhour has a wealth of experience in the education field. From 2022, they have been serving as the Executive Director of Elementary Education at Tahlequah Public Schools. Prior to that, they were employed at Briggs Public School as the School Principal from 2016 to 2022, and also as the School Turnaround Officer from 2016 to 2022. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at Keys Public Schools as a PEP Grant Coordinator/Assistant Principal. In 2011, they held the position of Elementary Principal at Hilldale Public Schools, and also served as the Oklahoma Representative for the National Association of Elementary School Principals from 2011 to 2014. Additionally, from 2009 to 2011, they worked as the Elementary Principal at Tahlequah Public Schools.

In 1996, Kair completed a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Northeastern State University. This laid the foundation for a career in the field of education. After gaining experience in teaching, Kair Ridenhour decided to further their education. From 2002 to 2005, Kair pursued a Master's degree in School Administration at Northeastern State University. This degree would provide the necessary knowledge and skills for a leadership role in the education sector.
In addition to formal education, Kair Ridenhour has obtained several certifications to enhance their expertise. In December 2005, Kair obtained a certification as an Elementary Principal. This certification demonstrates their commitment to effectively lead and manage elementary schools. More recently, in October 2018, Kair acquired a Superintendent certification, showcasing their readiness to take on higher-level administrative responsibilities.
