Kitty Mckay

After graduating from Michigan State University's Honor's College, Kitty spent years living in Japan, working as an American woman fluent in Japanese, manufacturing garments throughout Asia for the fashion industry. Once she made her way to Northern Nevada in 1993, she settled in, married, had two kids and started a regional restaurant & event business with her partner/husband. After a heart attack suddenly claimed his life, she discovered her life's calling—fostering meaningful connection and healing in healthcare. From her earliest days with Carson Tahoe Health (beginning as Physician Liaison in 2009) she found “home”. When not working, she celebrates her days with her second soulmate and husband, Johnny, their blended families and the joys of live music, incredible food, travel, and connecting with cherished friends—old and new.
