Patricia Nuccio has over three decades of experience in education, currently serving as a teacher at Washoe County School District since August 1987, with a focus on sixth, seventh, and eighth grades, as well as specialized teaching for gifted students in math and science. Patricia has taught sixth grade pre-algebra and earth science, and has been actively involved in science fairs and geology field trips while collaborating with the Desert Research Institute as a Greenpower liaison. In addition to their teaching career, Patricia has been a ski instructor with Tahoe Donner Association since December 2012 and previously worked at Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe from November 2008 to April 2012, where entry-level skiing was emphasized. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in US History from the University of Chicago and a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of California, Berkeley.
