Ammar Jessa

Ammar Jessa has worked at multiple organizations and gained a diverse range of skills and experience. Ammar is currently employed at Taiga Motors as a Vehicle Integration Engineer, a position they started in May 2021. Prior to this, from June 2020 to May 2021, Ammar worked as an Aerodynamic Research and Development Analyst.

Ammar has also had significant involvement with Ryerson Formula Racing, where they held various roles. Ammar served as a Project Manager from May 2019 to May 2020 and was responsible for leading and managing projects. Additionally, they were the Aerodynamics Lead from September 2014 to May 2020, contributing to the development and implementation of aerodynamic designs.

Furthermore, Ammar worked as a Research Assistant at the Ryerson Applied Aerodynamics Laboratory of Flight (RAALF) from May 2017 to May 2020. Ammar supported research initiatives and contributed to the development of aerodynamic models.

During their time at Ryerson University, Ammar also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from September 2018 to January 2020. Ammar assisted in teaching and supporting students in their coursework. Additionally, they served as a Member Relations staff member for Athletics from September 2015 to May 2018, providing support and assistance in athletic activities.

Early in their career, Ammar worked as a Lifeguard at the Town of Markham from January 2011 to May 2012. Ammar ensured the safety of individuals in aquatic environments.
