Reza K. has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and medical field. Reza started their career as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2003. Reza then worked as a Clinical Pharmacologist and Study Director at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where they focused on early-stage drug development and project management, including conducting preclinical studies and overseeing clinical trials. After that, they served as a Consultant Pharmacist at Kroger Specialty Pharmacy for six years.

In 2011, Reza became the Clinical Pharmacy Manager for Oncology and Infusion Services at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, where they were responsible for managing outpatient cancer services and implementing quality improvement initiatives. Reza then joined CVS Health Payor Solutions as an Oncology Subject Matter Expert and Lead Clinical Pharmacist.

In 2013, Reza worked as the Clinical and Operational Pharmacy Manager for Oncology Services at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Reza'srole involved overseeing the preparation and delivery of intravenous therapy for cancer patients, designing quality improvement initiatives, and serving as the clinical pharmacist for the NCI-sponsored cancer center.

Reza later became the Supervisor of Medical Science Liaisons at Mega Aid Compounding Pharmacy, where they provided medical and scientific information to key stakeholders and supported research and clinical trial initiatives for early-stage clinical compounds.

From 2014 to 2020, Reza worked as a Pharmaceutical Consultant at New York Pharmacology Associates, where they assisted start-ups in laboratory drug development projects and cleanroom compliance initiatives.

Currently, Reza holds the position of Senior Director of Scientific and Medical Communications at Taiho Oncology, Inc.

Reza K. has a diverse educational background in the field of pharmacy and pharmacology. Reza started their education at The University of Kansas, where they pursued undergraduate studies in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from 1996 to 1999. After completing their undergraduate degree, they went on to earn a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of Kansas Medical Center, graduating in 2003.

To further enhance their expertise, Reza completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences from 2003 to 2004, specializing in Clinical, Hospital, and Managed Care Pharmacy. Subsequently, they undertook a Post-Doc Fellowship in Clinical Pharmacology & Anti-Cancer Drug Development at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center from 2004 to 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Reza has also attained various certifications. Reza obtained their Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist certification from the BPS - Board of Pharmacy Specialties in December 2006. Later, in April 2009, they received a Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) for Study Directors & Monitors Certification from the West Coast Quality Training Institute, Pacific Rim Consulting, Inc. Additionally, they hold the NPTA's Pharmacy Sterile Products Certification from the National Pharmacy Technician Association since September 2004. Reza's commitment to professional development and specialization continued with their attainment of a Board Certified Oncology Pharmacy certification from the BPS - Board of Pharmacy Specialties in December 2011. Finally, in September 2013, they obtained a New York State Pharmacist's License from the New York State Office of the Professions (Board of Pharmacy).
