Andrea Gottardo

Andrea Gottardo is a software engineer currently developing Tailscale VPN applications for iOS, macOS, and tvOS since May 2023. Prior to this role, Andrea served at Apple from September 2020 to May 2023, working on the Shortcuts app and SiriKit Intents as part of the Shortcuts team across all Apple platforms. From May 2019 to August 2020, Andrea was a software development engineer at Fortinet, contributing to the development of FortiExplorer and FortiMonitor, applications for managing FortiGate firewalls and Wi-Fi access points, entirely written in Swift. Additionally, Andrea worked as a teaching assistant in the UBC Department of Computer Science from January 2017 to April 2019, supporting students and instructors in various capacities. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia, completed in 2019.
