Pouyan Aminian

Pouyan Aminian has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple companies. Pouyan is currently working as a Product Manager at Tailscale, starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Product Manager - Multi Cloud Platform at Databricks from November 2021 to March 2023. Before joining Databricks, Pouyan worked at Meta (formerly Facebook) as a Product Manager - App Ads from May 2020 to November 2021.

Pouyan has also worked at Microsoft for several years, where they held various roles. From May 2018 to April 2020, they worked as a Senior Product Manager - Azure Lockbox. Additionally, Pouyan was a Program Manager II - C+AI GDPR Task Force from September 2017 to May 2018, leading the GDPR compliance effort across multiple teams in the Azure commerce organization. Pouyan also served as a Program Manager - Azure Global Expansion from April 2016 to August 2017, driving service onboarding for a new Azure private cloud in Germany. In their previous role as a Program Manager - Windows Maps from October 2014 to April 2016, Pouyan created the first A/B testing program in Windows Maps and streamlined dashboards and reporting.

Pouyan's earlier work experience includes internships at Pivotal Labs, where they worked as a Solutions Engineer and Android Engineer from May 2013 to September 2013 and from April 2012 to May 2013, respectively. Pouyan also worked as an IT/Communications Coordinator - Intern at Epilepsy Ontario from May 2011 to September 2011, and as a Data Integration Specialist - Intern at Deloitte Canada from July 2010 to September 2010. Pouyan's career started as a Helpdesk Technician at York University from March 2009 to September 2009.

Pouyan Aminian obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto. Pouyan attended the university from 2009 to 2014. In addition to their degree, they also obtained certifications in Organizational Leadership and Team Leadership from the institution called Leaders of Tomorrow. Pouyan Aminian received the Team Leadership Certificate in October 2009 and the Organizational Leadership certificate in February 2011.
