Charles Steward has over 20 years of experience in the fragrance and flavor industry. Charles began their career as a Research Associate at the University of Tennessee before moving on to Reckitt Benckiser as an R&D Category Manager. Charles then held positions at Givaudan and International Flavors and Fragrances, where they oversaw fragrance technical applications and managed technical teams. Currently, Charles is the Vice President of Research & Development at Takasago International Corp. (USA), where they are responsible for managing R&D for fragrances and flavors, fragrance applications, and quality control for fragrance manufacturing.
Charles Steward completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Furman University in Greenville, SC from 1983 to 1987. Later, they pursued a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences at the University of South Carolina from 1988 to 1994.
