Awny Farajallah

Awny Farajallah, MD, FACP, is a distinguished medical professional with extensive experience in oncology and infectious diseases. Currently serving as Chief Medical Officer for the Global Oncology Business Unit at Takeda Oncology, Awny Farajallah previously held key positions including Head of Global Medical Affairs Oncology at Takeda Oncology and Senior Vice President of North America Medical Affairs at Ipsen. Awny Farajallah's career includes multiple leadership roles at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where contributions included Vice President for US Medical and Head of US Medical Oncology. Earlier in the career, Awny Farajallah was a Staff Physician and Assistant Professor at Cooper University Hospital and served as Chief Fellow in Infectious Diseases at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. Awny Farajallah earned an MD (MBBCh) in Medicine from Cairo University between 1985 and 1991.
