Ian Armitage

Ian Armitage has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Director of Pharmaceutics Research at Takeda Pharmaceuticals International Co. since December 2014, after transitioning from a role as Senior Scientist/Group Leader in Process Chemistry. Prior to this, Ian spent over five years as a Chemical Development Chemist at GSK. Ian relocated from the UK to the US facilities of Takeda in December 2003, having joined the company when it was known as Cambridge Discovery Chemistry and later Millennium Pharmaceuticals. Ian Armitage holds a degree from the University of Nottingham.
