Cathy Kuang

Cathy Kuang is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research technology and lab systems. Currently serving as Sr. Director - Head of Research Technology and Lab Systems at Takeda since August 2023, Cathy previously held multiple leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson from February 2007 to August 2023, including Director of Supply Chain Technology and Senior Manager of Research and Development Technology. Cathy has a strong background in managing global R&D lab systems, leading deployment projects, and driving innovative technical capabilities within medical device research. Prior roles include positions at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Teekay Shipping, Cantest, Avero Security International, and Tianjin Broadcasting and Television Bureau. Cathy holds an MBA from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Object Oriented Programming from Simon Fraser University.
