Joyce Zhao

Joyce Zhao has extensive experience in combination product device development, having served as Director at Takeda from April 2018 to March 2023, where responsibilities included design control, manufacturing, risk management, and life-cycle management. Prior to this, Joyce held positions as Associate Director and Senior Manager at Takeda, focusing on end-to-end device development and regulatory compliance. At Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Joyce worked as Associate Director in combination product device development. Additionally, Joyce has a strong background in drug delivery systems from tenure as Staff Engineer at Becton Dickinson and Company. Early career experience includes research assistant work at the University of Washington, contributing to the innovation of high energy absorbing materials. Joyce Zhao holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington.
