Juan Contreras possesses extensive experience in global customs and trade compliance, currently serving as Associate Director at Takeda since April 2021, overseeing compliance in multiple regions including the EU, ICMEA, and APAC. Previously, Juan held positions as Global Trade & Compliance Manager at Nobel Biocare and Trade Compliance Manager at SR Technics Group, where strategic leadership and global process implementation were key responsibilities. Juan's background also includes roles in customs brokerage and international business management across various industries such as medical devices, aerospace, apparel, and solar energy. Additionally, Juan has contributed to academia as an external professor and led customs audits for the Venezuelan government. Education includes an MBA, a Master's in Commerce and International Finances, and specialized qualifications in Border Management and Business Administration.
