Saso Jezernik

Saso Jezernik is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in digital health, data architecture, and business development. Currently serving as the Senior Director and Principal Enterprise Architect at Takeda since October 2022, Saso leads efforts in global digital, data, and technology initiatives within manufacturing, supply chain, and quality sectors. As a co-founder and CTO of BioInitials, active since June 2019, Saso focuses on salivary biosensors and biomarkers for disease prevention and diagnostics. Prior roles include Director and Principal at Consultys Switzerland, where Saso supported operational excellence and digital transformation in life sciences, and European Director of Business Development and Licensing at Qualcomm, overseeing medical connectivity solutions. Saso's earlier career at Altran included various director-level positions and contributions to the Scientific Board of the Altran Foundation for Innovation. Educational credentials include an MBA in Technology Strategy from MIT Sloan School of Management and post-doctoral research in Biomedical Engineering and Automatic Control from ETH Zürich.
