David Squires

David Squires has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. David is currently working as a Software Engineer at Takeoff Technologies, Inc. since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Arcadia as a Software Engineer from February 2022 to April 2023. From March 2018 to February 2022, David worked at Relevant Healthcare as a Software Engineer.

Before transitioning into software engineering, David held significant roles at The Commonwealth Fund. From February 2014 to July 2017, they served as a Senior Researcher to the President. During this time, they developed data-driven insights on health policy issues, authored articles, and contributed to various journals. From September 2008 to February 2014, David worked as a Senior Researcher/Senior Research Associate/Program Associate in International Health Policy, where they conducted comparative research on health systems and supported research projects of Harkness Fellows.

David's career began at Abt Associates, where they worked as an Associate Analyst from November 2006 to July 2008. Overall, David Squires has a strong background in software engineering and valuable experience in health policy research and analysis.

David Squires started their education at Bates College from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in English. David then pursued further education at New York University from 2009 to 2011, completing a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Bioethics. Finally, in 2017, they attended the Flatiron School for the Software Engineering Immersive Program.
