Vivek S.

Vivek S. has extensive experience in the manufacturing and sourcing industry. Vivek started their career at Hero Honda as a Project Engineer in 2004. Vivek then moved on to Infosys Consulting, Inc. as a Management Consultant specializing in supply chain from 2007 to 2008. Later on, they joined Triumph International and held various roles including Head of Plant Supply Chain, Head of Production, Deputy General Manager of Operations, and finally General Manager/General Director responsible for two sites with a delivery responsibility of USD 90 million. Since 2019, Vivek has been with TAL Apparel Limited, first serving as Associate Managing Director and now as the Managing Director. In this role, they lead a manufacturing and sourcing hub with approximately 6000 employees and a business worth over USD 240 million, delivering products to marquee customers in the apparel and fashion industry in the US and Europe. Vivek is responsible for various aspects including financials, manufacturing, sourcing, supply chain, technical and quality development, planning, social compliance, and human resources. Throughout their career, Vivek has demonstrated expertise in operational excellence, continuous improvement, lean practices, and project management.

Vivek S. pursued their education chronologically, beginning with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology in Jalandhar. This course of study took place from 2000 to 2004. After completing their undergraduate studies, Vivek went on to enroll in the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur. From 2005 to 2007, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Operations and Finance.
