Karan Shah

Karan Shah is a Lead Software Engineer at Tala since July 2022, previously serving as a Software Engineer at Expedia, Inc. from September 2012 to July 2022, where responsibilities included project design, development, testing, code reviews, and creating technical blogs. At Expedia, Karan is currently focused on developing an anomaly detection platform aimed at reducing incident mean time to recovery (MTTR) for critical issues. Karan's earlier roles at Expedia included Senior Operations Analyst and Operations & Traffic Analyst, emphasizing site performance analysis, root cause investigation, and automated process improvement. Prior to Expedia, Karan worked as a Systems Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services from December 2009 to September 2012, engaged in application development and support using Java and PL/SQL. Karan holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida.
