Ashley Townsend

Ashley Townsend has a diverse work experience spanning from 2005 to 2023. Ashley started their career at UHY LLP as a Staff Auditor from 2005 to 2007, then promoted to Senior Staff Auditor from 2007 to 2008. Ashley worked as a Sr. Accountant at Houston Wire & Cable from 2008 to 2009 before joining PKF Texas as a Senior Auditor for a brief period in 2009. From 2009 to 2018, Ashley worked at Direct Energy, holding various positions including Sr. Analyst, Retail Energy Gross Margin Accounting from 2009 to 2012, Manager - Margin Forecasting & Analysis, DE Residential from 2012 to 2013, Manager - Decision Support from 2013 to 2017, and finally as a Strategy Manager from 2017 to 2018. Currently, they are employed at Talen Energy as a Senior Finance Manager from 2019 to 2020 and then promoted to their current role as Sr. Manager, Battery Storage and Project Development from 2020 to 2023.

Ashley Townsend completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Accounting from the University of Houston in 2006. Ashley then pursued their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Accountancy from the same university in 2006. Prior to their university education, Ashley attended Cy Creek.
