Emily Kraus

Emily Kraus has a diverse work experience in corporate development and finance. Emily currently holds the role of Managing Director, Corporate Development at Talen Energy since July 2023. Prior to this, they worked at bp as a Manager in the M&A team, where they gained experience in transaction management. Emily was also a Corporate Development Senior Manager at California Resources Corporation, leading analysis and diligence processes for M&A and strategic initiatives. Emily also worked as a Financial Advisor at Oxy, and in corporate development roles at Frank's International N.V., Macquarie Group, and RBC Capital Markets. Emily started their career as an Equity Capital Markets Analyst at Citi.

Emily Kraus received their Bachelor's Degree in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering from Cornell University from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they attended Hopkins School from 1999 to 2005 for high school.
