Richard Samaniego

Richard Samaniego has over 20 years of experience in IT, beginning with their service as a Sergeant in the US Army. Richard'swork experience has included a range of roles in ITAM, network engineering and data communications. Most recently, they worked as a Business Relationship Manager at TALENT Software Services, where they interfaced with IT leadership and agency leadership up to the executive level to ensure delivery of products and services by ITD. Prior to this, they were an ITAM Specialist at Infojini Inc, responsible for monitoring agency software titles to ensure compliance. Richard has also worked at DISA as an IT Asset Management and Program Analyst, implemented IT infrastructure projects in various Ferguson Enterprises facilities, and served as an ITAM Inventory Manager Site Lead at ARServices.

Richard Samaniego has a history of pursuing education in the field of Computer Information Systems. From 1994 to 1998, they attended Richard Bland College of William & Mary, where they obtained an Associate of Science degree. Later, from 1998 to 2000, they attended Virginia Commonwealth University. Between 2007 and 2013, they attended Strayer University for Computer Information Systems. Richard has also obtained two certifications from Loyalist Exam Services in ITIL v3 Foundations in 2008 and ITIL v3 Release, Control and Validation in 2010.
