Ecem Korkmaz Gelal

Ecem Korkmaz Gelal has held various roles in the tech and marketing industries since 2011. Ecem began their career as a Sales Intern at Henkel in 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Marketing Intern at Intel Corporation and a Digital Marketing Intern at Rocket Internet GmbH. From 2014 to 2018, they held roles at Turkcell, including Segment Manager, Product & Segment Marketing Specialist, and Marketing Specialist. In 2017, they became Co-Founder of Startup Jobs Istanbul. In 2018, they were Growth Marketing Manager at Twentify. In 2019, they became Co-Founder & CEO of TalentGrid, an HR tech company matching tech talent from untapped markets with growing companies globally.

Ecem Korkmaz Gelal earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from Boğaziçi University between 2008 and 2014. Prior to that, they attended Hüseyin Avni Sözen Anadolu Lisesi from 2004 to 2008.
