John Byers III

John Byers III has extensive work experience in various fields. John started their career as a Business Development Specialist at Unisource in 2007, where they successfully sold packaging solutions to Fortune 1000 manufacturing companies. In 2008, they became the VP of Sales and Marketing at Fessco, where they developed and executed a strategic plan to reverse a negative sales trend and achieve profitability.

In 2010, John joined Identity Group as the National Channel Manager, where they realigned marketing strategies for the direct dealer custom program and managed key accounts. John then moved to American Tombow, Inc. in 2011, working as the National Channel Manager and a Channel Management Consultant focused on the Mass Market. During their time there, they managed sales teams, collaborated with marketing to develop products, and conducted market analysis to determine the viability of selling Tombow products in different market segments.

John joined Paris Corporation in 2015 as the National Channel Manager, responsible for managing all aspects of the Office Products Channel, including wholesale, independent dealers, e-commerce, and large account management. John then worked at Sharp Business USA as a Strategic Account Executive from 2018 to 2020, helping businesses improve workflow processes and providing consulting services to enhance overall business practices.

In 2015, John also started their own consulting company, JBIII Consulting, offering services in search consulting, career coaching, and sales process automation. John later became a Certified Career Coach and Managing Partner at CareerOyster, LLC, specializing in coaching executives and professionals throughout their careers.

Currently, John is working as a Certified Career Coach at Talent Inc., providing career coaching services and coaching independent clients under their own consulting company. John combines their 20 years of experience in career coaching, 45 years in the CPG industry, and 5 years in search consulting to offer a unique sales approach process to the job search.

John Byers III attended Florida Southern College, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Management with a focus on Computers and Marketing. John also attended The Marvelwood School for their high school education. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Career Coach certification from CareerOyster, LLC in June 2015, and another Career Coach certification from GetFive in January 2006.
