Paul Batchelor

Global Chairman at Talent

Paul has a 45 year international career spanning financial services, business services and investment. His corporate roles include Chairman, CEO, COO and CFO of a number of large financial institutions such as Colonial Limited and AMP Limited – which had $260 billion of assets under management and employed 25,000 people internationally under his leadership as CEO. Paul was formerly a partner in an international accounting firm and has worked in other listed companies and small to mid-sized private businesses. In 2009 he co-founded private investment firm Yorkway Partners (now Quintet Yorkway).

Over his career he has been a strategic leader and change agent of mid-sized and large organisations including demutualising four large financial institutions where he set and executed their strategy as private or listed companies including transformational acquisitions and investments.

Paul is currently a non-executive director of a number of Quintet Yorkway investee companies including Global Chair of Talent, Chair of One Investment Group, Non-Executive Director of Infrastructure Advisory Group, Northland Group, Fitzpatricks Group and Insurance House Group.

He serves on the Investment Advisory Committee of the Australian Olympic Commission Foundation and was awarded the AOC Order of Merit in 2018 and the Centenary Medal in 2001.He established two of Australia’s largest foundations, the AMP Foundation and the Colonial Foundation.

Paul has operated on both sides of the boardroom table setting and executing strategic solutions, which he brings to his board roles and Quintet Yorkway investment interests.

As Executive Chairman of Quintet Yorkway and as a private investor himself, Paul is constantly looking to add value to businesses, their people, investors and to the communities in which he live and work.
