Carl Dean Tucker

Carl Dean Tucker has a diverse work experience in various technical and leadership roles. Carl started their career in 2013 as a Cloud Architect and Technical Lead at CDT Digital, where they focused on delivering business solutions and had expertise in cloud technology.

In 2014, they worked as a Technical Consultant at Workshare, helping a Microsoft software house rebrand as a SaaS provider using Linux and open-source technologies. Carl also developed a cloud migration plan that predicted significant cost savings.

From 2014 to 2016, Carl worked as a Technical Consultant at Adbrain, where they aided a startup in developing a minimum viable product for a product that would revolutionize online advertising. Carl also proposed and developed a product that could be taken to market quickly, reducing infrastructure costs by 33%.

In 2015, they took the role of a Consultant at BJSS, where they worked with the Racing Post to redesign and build a new online platform to accommodate a large number of simultaneous users. Carl modernized the provisioning stack and streamlined the code deployment process.

From 2016 to 2017, Carl was a Co-Founder and COO at Orbital Works, where they championed bringing satellite analytics to the masses and developed a platform for real-time information on how climate change impacts agriculture processes.

From 2017 to 2019, they served as a Technical Lead at Motability Operations Ltd, focusing on stability and sustainability in their business model, ensuring sustained affordability for customers.

In 2019, Carl joined Nationwide Building Society as a Technical Lead, and they stayed until 2021.

Carl'smost recent role, starting from 2022, is serving as the Chief Technology Officer at TalentMapper.

Carl Dean Tucker obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from Buckinghamshire New University, where they studied from 2006 to 2009.
