Tim Leonard

Tim Leonard is the current Chief Strategy Officer at talentreef. Prior to this, they were the VP of Sales at SlapFive, and before that, they held the same position at TalentReef. Tim has also served as the Founder and President of Clearhire, Inc.

Leonard began their career in 1997 as a VP of Sales at Compuware. In this role, they were responsible for building and leading a sales team, changing licensing and pricing models, designing product positioning, and creating sales processes. These efforts led to a 200% increase in sales in their first year.

In 2000, Leonard left Compuware to join Watchfire as their VP of Sales. During their time there, they helped close enterprise sales with major companies such as Dell, HP, JCPenny, Wells Fargo, New York Life, Schneider Electric, and Fidelity. Tim also helped identify a new application and partnership opportunity for Privacy Compliance with PWC. These accomplishments helped lead to Watchfire's acquisition by IBM in 2001.

In 2001, Leonard founded Clearhire, Inc., where they served as President until 2009. Clearhire was a successful startup that provided an online platform for employment screening and background checks.

Since 2009, Leonard has been working in the talent management industry. Tim joined TalentReef in 2010 and helped them grow into a leading provider of talent management solutions for the hospitality industry. In 2015, they joined SlapFive as their Chief Strategy Officer. Tim is currently in the same role at talentreef.

Their manager is Rich Crawford, Chief Executive Officer.
