Shawn Chiao has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Shawn is currently the Co-Founder and CTO at Tales, a position they have held since May 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Staff Software Engineer at Nuna Inc. from January 2018 to January 2020. Before that, Shawn served as the Engineering Manager at Elation from March 2016 to December 2017.

Shawn's earlier roles include being the CTO / First Engineer at Gummicube, Inc., where they provided App Store Optimization services for mobile apps from March 2014 to February 2016. Shawn also co-founded and served as the CTO at Tribal Crossing, a social gaming company focused on user-generated content, from July 2008 to November 2011.

Shawn also served as a Software Engineer at AdMission Corporation, where they designed and developed interactive classifieds and ad creation tools, from March 2005 to June 2006.
