Steve Ayling

Steve Ayling is an accomplished surveying professional with extensive experience in mine surveying and GIS analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Mine Surveyor at Talison Lithium Pty Ltd since May 2022, Steve has also held positions such as Surveyor/GIS Analyst at Airborne Maps since April 2016 and Contract Surveyor at Cobe Surveys Pty Ltd during the Koolan Island restart project. Previous roles include GIS Specialist at Bio Diverse Solutions, GIS Consultant at Working on Fire (Australia), and Contract GIS Administrator at Spatial Awareness. Steve's background also features significant contributions as a Contract Mine Surveyor for various mining companies, including Regis Resources and BHP Billiton. With educational credentials including a Post Graduate Diploma in Geographic Information Systems from Curtin University of Technology and an Associate Diploma in Surveying from Sydney College of Technical and Further Education, Steve possesses a strong foundation in both surveying and GIS methodologies.
