Eric Triana

Eric Triana, JD, CFE has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Eric has served as the Chief Compliance Officer at Talkiatry since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for a significant portion of their career. At the DEA, they held various roles, including Deputy Assistant Administrator, Assistant Special Agent in Charge, Unit Chief, and Group Supervisor. In these positions, Eric was responsible for overseeing complex diversion investigations, coordinating with law enforcement agencies, and prosecuting individuals involved in drug trafficking, money laundering, and fraud. Before joining the DEA, Eric worked as a Police Officer and Detective at the Baltimore City Police Department. Eric also gained experience as an Accountant/Auditor at GJ Lisa Accounting Firm, where they conducted governmental audits. Throughout their career, Eric has demonstrated a strong expertise in law enforcement, compliance, and financial investigations.

Eric Triana, JD, CFE obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from Rutgers University - Newark, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. Eric then pursued their Doctor of Law (JD) degree at Seton Hall University School of Law from 1994 to 1997. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in August 2021 and US Healthcare Compliance Certificate from Seton Hall University School of Law in June 2022.
