David King

David is passionate about reducing equity gaps in education through technology-based solutions. He completed a Ph.D. in Quantitative Psychology from Georgia Tech and has worked in technical leadership roles at Edmentum, ACT, and Pearson developing cloud-based machine-learning solutions for improving educational outcomes.

As Head of Data, David leads the data engineering, data analytics, and data science initiatives. His team provides data governance to ensure data assets are valid, discoverable, and interpretable for internal stakeholders, and can be leveraged to improve experiences and outcomes for the teachers and families.
