Kristoffer W. Mikkelsen

Kristoffer W. Mikkelsen has a diverse work experience in the fields of design and animation. Kristoffer W. has held various roles in different companies since 2012. In 2012, they worked as a Creative Director and Animator at Nørlum. In 2013, they served as a Creative Director at Tumblehead, where they developed intellectual property and game designs, led art direction, and conducted user research. Kristoffer W. also worked as a 2D Animator at Nørlum on the Academy Award-nominated feature film "Song of the Sea." In 2014, they were a Visual Interface Designer at Apple for a brief period. In 2015, they worked as a Designer at Apple and later as a Product Designer at AOL. In 2016, they became the Senior Director of Design at Talkspace - Online Therapy. Lastly, in 2020, they worked as a Fellow at Day One.

Kristoffer W. Mikkelsen has a diverse education history. In 2019, they attended Startup School Online, where they studied Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. From 2013 to 2015, they pursued an MFA in Computer Art at the School of Visual Arts, focusing on Interactive Design, Digital Product Design, and Programming. Prior to that, they obtained a BAA degree in Character Animation, 2D & 3D from VIA University College from 2008 to 2012. In 2007, they briefly attended The Drawing Academy to study Classical Drawing. In 2006, they completed a Foundation Degree in Product Design, Architecture, and Photography at Krabbesholm Højskole. Finally, in 2005, they studied 3D Fundamentals, specializing in 3D Modeling and Rigging at Truemax Academy.
