Liz Colizza, MAC, LPC, NCC has extensive experience in the field of counseling and therapy. In 2017, they joined Lasting as the Head of Couples Therapy and held this position until March 2022. During this time, they provided therapeutic services and support to couples. In February 2021, Liz began working at Talkspace as the Director of Research and Programs. Liz continues to serve in this role, utilizing their expertise to develop and enhance the company's research initiatives and program offerings. Additionally, Liz has operated their own counseling practice, Liz Colizza Counseling, LLC, as a Licensed Professional Counselor until March 2022.

Liz Colizza, MAC, LPC, NCC holds a Master of Arts in Counseling degree from Covenant Theological Seminary (2010-2013) and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from the University of Virginia (2002-2006). Liz also obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature, General & Religious Studies from the University of Virginia. Additionally, Liz Colizza has several certifications, including Emotional Focused Couples Therapy, National Certified Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, Level II and Level I Gottman Couples Therapy, Bringing Baby Home Educator, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
