Charlie Carmichael has accumulated a diverse range of work experience in the sports industry. Starting in 2013, they began their career as a Content Writer for Natter Football, where they wrote articles on various topics in English and European football. In 2016, they became a Fitness Instructor at Rugby School, providing support in the gym. Concurrently, they contributed as a Contributing Editor for Box to Box Football, producing feature-length articles for their print and online platforms.

From 2017 to 2018, Charlie worked as a Digital Writer for FourFourTwo on a freelance basis, producing content for their website and contributing to their news desk. During this time, they also took on the role of Senior Writer for These Football Times, focusing on storytelling and writing for their website and magazine.

Currently, Charlie works as the Head of Audience at talkSPORT, where they analyze data trends and performance to develop content strategies and drive the company's digital growth.

Charlie Carmichael attended Princethorpe College from 2005 to 2011, where they obtained a High School degree with a focus on Physical Education, Psychology, and I.T. Afterward, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree at Solent University from 2012 to 2016. During their time at Solent University, their field of study is not specified. Along with their formal education, Charlie also obtained various certifications, including an Advanced Diploma in Personal Training NVQ Level 3 from YMCA in January 2012, an FA Level 1 Coaching Badge from The Football Association in October 2010, a Driving Licence from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) in April 2012, and First Aid certification from St. John Ambulance First Aid industry training & Health in November 2016.
