Carlos P. Evans

Mr. Evans has more than 15 years of experience in the Energy sector. In his role as Chief Commercial Officer, he leads the commercial and business development team that has built strong relationships with oil and gas producers throughout the industry. He has secured long-term dedications from multiple producers, anchoring the build-out of Tall Oak’s natural gas gathering and processing systems in Oklahoma.

Prior to forming Tall Oak in early 2014, Mr. Evans served multiple roles during the shale revolution at Chesapeake Energy where his responsibilities were focused on commercial and business development, gas scheduling and contract administration. Mr. Evans led teams to develop a strategy and execute on natural gas gathering, processing and transportation and NGL transportation and fractionation projects with a primary focus on greenfield build-outs in the Barnett, Haynesville, Midcontinent, Marcellus and Utica Shale.

Mr. Evans holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the University of Central Oklahoma. He serves on the board of University of Central Oklahoma and is a member of the Natural Gas & Energy Association and Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association. Mr. Evans and his wife, Kristi, have three children and live in Edmond, Oklahoma.
