Steve Guiney

Steve Guiney has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Steve is currently serving as the Chief People and Culture Officer at Tall Poppy Real Estate, where they lead a values and people-based approach in the sector. Prior to this, Steve worked as a Strategic Advisor at Pivot & Pace, providing strategy expertise and executive leadership development for medium-sized businesses. Steve also served as the CEO of Exoskel Group, where they invented, manufactured, and commercialized a climbing aid, gaining significant experience in intellectual property, prototyping, manufacturing, marketing, and sales. Steve's experience also includes working as the Regional Manager Aspen International, West Africa at Aspen International, overseeing the set-up of medical clinics in Liberia. Steve has also served as the Chief of Operations at Shield Corporation CRM, managing a $200 million business across the Middle East and Africa. In addition, Steve has a distinguished military background, having served as a NZ SAS Squadron Commander in the New Zealand Defense Force, leading a rescue mission into West Timor in 2000.

Steve Guiney attended the University of Canberra, where they obtained a Masters Degree. Steve also attended the Wellington College of Education, where they earned a Masters of Management and Leadership (MMDS) from the University of Canberra.
