Nicole Zampieri is a postdoctoral research associate currently working at The Jones Center at Ichauway and Tall Timbers Research Station & Land Conservancy since 2023. Previously, Nicole served as a graduate teaching assistant at Florida State University from August 2017 to January 2023, where responsibilities included instructing courses in World Geography, Environmental Science, Physical Geography, and Biogeography. Additionally, Nicole worked as a field biologist for the Florida Natural Areas Inventory, focusing on rare plant surveys and natural community mapping, while also managing data using GIS software. Early career experience includes roles as a nursery assistant for the Eden Spring Monarch Migration Augmentation Project, an exotic plant management intern with the National Park Service, and a corps member for the American Conservation Experience. Academically, Nicole holds a PhD and an MS in Geography, as well as a BS in Environmental Science, all from Florida State University.
