Adrian L. Mayse

Adrian L. Mayse, Ph.D., CPA, currently serves as the Full Professor of Accounting and Dean of the School of Business at Talladega College since June 2023, overseeing a broad portfolio that includes faculty management, budget administration, and student services. In addition, Adrian operates A L Mayse LLC as the Chief Executive Officer, focusing on accreditation services for HBCU business and accounting programs. Previous positions include Associate Professor and Department Chair at Howard University, where extensive departmental management and course offerings supported a large student body, and various teaching roles at Middle Tennessee State University, Carrington College-Online, Jackson State University, and experience as a Tax Auditor for the Mississippi State Tax Commission. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Business Administration, Accounting from Jackson State University, along with multiple certificates from Cornell University and degrees in Accounting and Finance from the University of Mississippi and Jackson State University.
