Michelle Lynch Power is a highly experienced Senior Audiologist with a diverse professional background in audiology spanning over a decade. Currently serving as a Senior Audiologist at Tallaght Hospital since October 2016, Michelle is also the Owner of The Hearing Clinic since May 2014. Previously, Michelle held the position of Clinical Director Healthy Hearing for Special Olympics Ireland from March 2017 to March 2021 and worked at The Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital and Blackrock Clinic in audiology roles. Additionally, Michelle served as Director of Audiology for Bonavox Ltd and has extensive experience with Widex Ireland in various audiologist roles. Michelle holds a BAAT degree from Charing Cross Hospital and the British Association of Audiological Technicians, enhancing expertise in testing and hearing aid dispensing.

TUH is one of Ireland’s largest acute teaching hospitals, adult, psychiatric and age-related healthcare on one site. The Hospital has 495 adult beds with 3,000 people on staff. The Hospital is a provider of local, regional and national specialties. It is also a national urology centre, the second largest provider of dialysis services in the country, a national centre for Urology and pelvic and acetabular fractures. Robotic surgery started in 2020 and we have recently been designated as a Trauma Unit (one of two within the newly established trauma network). The Hospital also has 67 paediatric beds under the governance of Children’s Health Ireland and 52 mental health beds under HSE governance. TUH is one of the two main teaching hospitals of Trinity College Dublin - specialising in the training and professional development of staff in areas such as nursing, health and social care professionals, emergency medicine and surgery, amongst many others.
