Cara Fleischer is a seasoned communications professional with diverse experience in public relations, advocacy, and community engagement. Currently serving as a Communications Specialist at ReThink Energy Florida since February 2022, Cara crafts press releases and promotes renewable energy lobbying events across various media platforms. As a Soil & Water Conservation District Supervisor since January 2020 and a columnist for the Tallahassee Democrat since January 2016, Cara advocates for environmental issues. Additionally, leadership as the Creation Care Leader at Saint Paul's UMC Tallahassee includes initiatives that support sustainability projects. Cara's extensive background features significant contributions as a Board Member for Be The Solution Spay and Neuter Today, where marketing strategies led to substantial fundraising efforts, and as a Public Relations Account Supervisor at Freebairn and Company, where successful campaigns were launched for outdoor brands. Cara holds a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing and Communications from Florida State University.
