John Ruf

John Ruf has over 18 years of work experience in the software engineering field. John began their career in 2004 as an Intern and Database Marketing Manager at Ruf Strategic Solutions. In 2008, they became a Contractor at Advantage Tech. In 2009, they worked as a Web Developer at Peminic. From 2011 to 2012, they were the Owner and Software Engineer at NeoModulus Consulting, LLC. John then worked as a .NET Contractor at VML from 2012 to 2013. In 2013, they became a Senior .Net Developer at MacFarlane Group and in 2015, they were promoted to Lead Software Engineer at Valorem Reply. In 2019, they worked as a Software Engineer at C.H. Robinson and in 2020, they became a Software Engineer at RLDatix. Currently, they are the Vice President of Information Technology at Tallgrass Freight Company.

John Ruf has a BS in Computer Science with an emphasis in Software Engineering from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, which they obtained in 2004. John also has three additional certifications from Microsoft: MCSA: Web Applications (2016), MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional (2015), and MS: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 (2015).
