Genessa Stout

Genessa Stout is currently the Chief Operating Officer & General Counsel at Tally since January 2019. Prior to that, Genessa held roles at PayPal, including Director, Product Counsel, Consumer Products & Venmo, and Director of Litigation from September 2015 to December 2018. Genessa has also worked at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau as an Attorney in the Enforcement Division from January 2012 to September 2015. With a background in law, Genessa obtained a Juris Doctorate from Seattle University School of Law in 2006 and a BA in Speech Communications from the University of Washington in 2002.
