Jaakko Kaartinen

Jaakko Kaartinen has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jaakko is currently working as a Senior Insight Director at Taloustutkimus Oy, where they develop strategic solutions for customers in both public and private sectors. Jaakko'srole involves working with research data, open data, customer data, and geoinformation to create predictive models in collaboration with data analysts.

Prior to their current position, Jaakko worked at Insight360 oy for five years, starting in 2016. Jaakko'sroles at the company included Director of Research, Strategy Director, and Customer Insight and Online Targeting Specialist.

Before joining Insight360 oy, Jaakko worked at Kotimaa oy for ten years from 2006 to 2016. During this time, they held positions as a Web Producer, Head of Digital Development, and a Journalist. Jaakko'sresponsibilities at Kotimaa oy included project management, technical production, customer account management, and CMS user interface development.

Between 2012 and 2012, Jaakko worked briefly at Kirkkohallitus as an Information Specialist.

Prior to that, Jaakko worked as a Journalist at Nykypäivä, a weekly political newspaper, from 2004 to 2005. Jaakko was responsible for editing articles, columns, and letters to the editor, as well as creating graphics and layouts.

Jaakko'searliest work experience dates back to 1999 when they worked as a Journalist at Luonto-Liitto. At Luonto-Liitto, Jaakko produced and edited a bi-monthly magazine, guiding young activists in creating content and overseeing the layout and design.

Jaakko Kaartinen completed their TM degree in Theology and Social Ethics at the University of Helsinki from 1991 to 2011. In 2021, they began pursuing a Doctor's Degree in Social Ethics at the same university, which they are expected to complete in 2025.
