Shahida Sayes

Shahida Sayes has extensive work experience in human resources operations, talent acquisition, and people management. Shahida currently holds the position of Director of Human Resources Operations at TAM, starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were the Head of People at Hala from December 2021 to July 2023. Shahida also served as the Director of People at DETASAD in 2021. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at Careem as an HR Business Partner and Talent Acquisition Associate. Shahida'sprevious roles include Talent Acquisition Specialist at Emaar, The Economic City in 2017, Talent Acquisition Specialist and Officer at Chalhoub Group from 2015-2017, and an Intern at Cristal in 2014. Shahida began their career as an Account Executive at JWT in 2010 and Visualizit in 2007.

Shahida Sayes pursued their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a specialization in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from the University of Business & Technology from 2011 to 2014. In 2013, they had a brief period of study at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General. In terms of additional certifications, Shahida completed the Certified Human Resources Analyst (CHRA) program from the GAFM Global Academy of Finance & Management® - ISO 29990 Certified International Board of Standards in January 2017. In January 2023, they acquired certifications in Human Resources: Compensation and Benefits as well as Inclusive Mindset for Committed Allies through LinkedIn.
