Amanda Stangret, MBA, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as the Human Resources Director at Hayward Area Memorial Hospital & Water's Edge, having progressed through roles including Human Resources Manager and HR Generalist since April 2019. Prior to this, Amanda gained experience at Jack Link's Protein Snacks, where roles included HR Coordinator and Cost Analyst from June 2011 to April 2019. Amanda holds an MBA in Human Resources Management and Services from Concordia University-Wisconsin, completed between 2020 and 2022, and a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management and Services from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, earned from 2015 to 2018.

Our 25 bed critical access hospital is connected to medical clinics, a long term care center and assisted and independent living apartments. We offer specialty services including orthopedics and urology, and area primary care physicians have privileges to see and treat patients in the hospital and Water’s Edge. Hayward Area Memorial Hospital & Water’s Edge employs over 390 people. The hospital was designed to aid in the restoration of health. Large private rooms support patient privacy. A sleeping couch in each patient room allows someone to stay with a young child or critically ill relative, in addition, attractive waiting areas support family involvement. An active volunteer organization assists staff in meeting the needs of patients and their families.
