Dan Mathis Jr.

Dan Mathis Jr., CPP is an experienced professional who has held various leadership roles in security and law enforcement. Dan currently serves as the Chief of Safety and Security at the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts. Dan previously worked as the President of MATHIS GROUP SECURITY CONSULTING, providing security assessments and solutions for clients. Dan also served as a Mobile Training Team Leader at DynCorp International and Major Crimes Detective/Deputy Sheriff at Hillsborough County Sheriffs Office. Dan holds a Master's Degree in Critical Incident and Emergency Management from Saint Leo University.
