Shin Fukuda

Shin Fukuda, AP, DOM, ATC, is an experienced athletic trainer and acupuncture physician currently serving as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Tampa Bay Rays since April 2014. In this role, Shin assists in the prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation of baseball-specific injuries across various leagues, facilitates communication between medical personnel, and travels with teams for additional support. Prior experience includes positions at Auburn University as an Intern Athletic Trainer, as well as internships with EXOS, the Washington Nationals, and the Arizona Diamondbacks, where Shin gained extensive knowledge in athletic training techniques and modalities. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from East West College of Natural Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Troy University.
